My Very Vera Blog

My family takes an annual trip to Yosemite National Park. We usually go up the first week in June. We've been renting the same cabin for over 30 years (back when it was a 2+2 and now it is a 4+4 with two kitchens, a steam shower, jetted tub, hot tub, enclosed deck, and two living rooms, like our family, it too has grown.)
I'm getting very excited to go again this year. I usually don't get this excited. But I have really got Vacation on my mind lately. I've been checking the weather there to see what I might be able to expect to pack.
And when packing comes to mind, I think... OH NO! What Veras am I going to bring?!
Then I get stuck. I have my VB luggage, that's a given. Then I will need a large purse for when I'm being mommy and carrying everything, but do I also take a small purse, just like for phone and ID when I'm hiking or going down to the corner Pine Tree Market? Obviously I'll bring my Vera Pajamas and Sweatshirts. But do I need a backpack? How about a cross-body?
Well, when I get there, I'll take pics and let you know what I ended up bringing. Right now I'm going to focus on the anticipation of a MUCH NEEDED vacation and look forward to basking in the beauty of creation.
(While waiting for my vacation, I took an afternoon off and headed to the beach with my Marina Paisley Shopper Tote and some goodies to kick off my Colorful Summer!)
